Description

Plant Success Great White Premium Mycorrhizae 28.3 g – powdered mycorrhizae with beneficial bacteria and Trichoderma fungi

Great White Premium Mycorrhizae 28.3 g by Plant Success is a water-soluble powder containing a rich blend of root-zone microorganisms: 16 species of mycorrhizal fungi, several species of beneficial bacteria, and 2 species of fungi from the genus Trichoderma.

The microorganisms colonize the roots and the surrounding growing medium, creating a network that increases the absorbing surface area of the root system. This enables the plant to absorb water and nutrients more efficiently, while fertilizers are used more effectively. The product is best applied as early as possible: during sowing, rooting cuttings, and transplanting. The 28.3 g (1 oz) package, used at a rate of 5 g per 10 L of water, is sufficient for more than 50 L of solution.

Great White combines two types of mycorrhizae. Endomycorrhizae penetrate root cells and work with most vegetables, flowers, shrubs, and fruit trees. Ectomycorrhizae develop in the growing medium around the roots and are typical of conifers and oaks. Combining both groups broadens the range of plants with which the product can work.

Key features

  • 9 species of endomycorrhizae and 7 species of ectomycorrhizae
  • several species of beneficial bacteria and 2 species of Trichoderma
  • water-soluble powder – for dusting and watering
  • for every growing medium and system: soil, coco, hydroponics
  • improves the transport of nutrients to the plant
  • overdosing does not harm plants

Composition

A blend of 16 species of mycorrhizal fungi (9 endomycorrhizal and 7 ectomycorrhizal), several species of beneficial bacteria, and 2 species of Trichoderma on a powdered carrier.

Application

The product is intended for all growing stages and every growing medium – soil, coco, and hydroponics – in home, garden, and greenhouse cultivation. It is used during sowing, rooting cuttings, planting seedlings, and on established plants. Brassicas and ericaceous plants (e.g. blueberry), as well as orchids, are exceptions because they do not form this type of mycorrhizae; in these plants, the effect is limited.

Directions for use

  • Seeds: lightly dust with the powder before sowing.
  • Cuttings: dip the end in rooting hormone, then lightly in the powder; you can also soak the growing medium with a solution of 5 g (1 teaspoon) per 10 L of water.
  • Transplanting: dust the planting hole and place the root ball directly on the powder.
  • Soil and coco (watering): 5 g (1 teaspoon) per 10 L of water.
  • Hydroponics: 5 g per 40 L of nutrient solution with regular fertilization; sediment at the bottom of the reservoir is the carrier and is normal.
  • Established plants: make small holes in the growing medium reaching the roots and add 5 g of the product to each hole.

Safety and storage

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest, avoid inhaling the dust and contact with the eyes, and wash your hands after use. Store in the tightly closed original packaging, in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
