Description

Plant Success Great White Granular One 113 g – granular mycorrhizal inoculant for soil and coco

Great White Granular One by Plant Success is a granular mycorrhizal product designed for growing in soil and coco coir. It contains one carefully selected species of endomycorrhizal fungus – Glomus intraradices – which, after colonizing the roots, enters into symbiosis with the plant and develops a dense network of hyphae around the root ball.

As a result, the active surface area of the root system increases significantly, allowing the plant to absorb water and nutrients more efficiently – from planting through the end of the season. The granules are easy to measure and distribute evenly, making them suitable for preparing potting mixes as well as planting and transplanting vegetables, fruiting plants and flowers.

The 113 g (4 oz) package is a convenient size for growing at home, on a balcony or in a small greenhouse.

Key features

  • single-species Glomus intraradices endomycorrhiza in a convenient granular form
  • for use in soil and coco coir substrates
  • increases the absorptive surface area of the roots, supporting the uptake of water and nutrients
  • for vegetables, fruiting plants and flowers – during planting, transplanting and for established plants
  • listed on the American OMRI and OIM lists of products approved for organic growing
  • exceeding the recommended dosage does not negatively affect plants

Composition

Endomycorrhiza: Glomus intraradices – 132 propagules per 1 g of product.

Application

The product introduces beneficial microorganisms into the root zone, supporting plant vigor. It is intended for growing in soil and coco coir – in vegetable gardens, orchards, flower beds and containers, at home, on balconies and in greenhouses. It can be mixed with the substrate before filling pots, added to the planting hole during planting or applied in spots around plants already growing in the ground or in containers. It is not intended for tanks or hydroponic systems. Brassicas and ericaceous plants (e.g. blueberries), as well as orchids, are exceptions because they do not form this type of mycorrhiza – the effect is limited in these plants.

Directions for use

  • Planting and transplanting: spread the granules evenly over the bottom of the hole and around the roots while backfilling – approximately 7 g per liter of pot volume.
  • Preparing the substrate: mix approximately 3 g of product per 1 L of soil or coco coir (150 g per 50 L); the 113 g package is sufficient for approximately 37 L of mix.
  • Established plants: make holes approximately 5–7.5 cm deep around the plant, spaced roughly 15 cm apart, and add approximately 5 g (1 teaspoon) to each hole.
  • Approximate amounts per container: pot approx. 10 cm – 5 g, container approx. 4 L – 30 g, container approx. 19 L – 150 g (1 teaspoon = 5 g, 1 tablespoon = 15 g).

Most importantly, the granules must come into direct contact with the roots – only then can the fungus colonize them.

Safety and storage

Store in the tightly closed original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children and animals. This product is not intended for consumption. Avoid inhaling dust and contact with the eyes, and wash your hands after use.
