PK 13-14 by Plagron is a concentrated mineral fertilizer that provides plants with an additional dose of phosphorus and potassium during the flowering phase. Both nutrients are essential during this period: phosphorus supports flower and fruit development, while potassium increases the firmness of plant tissues. An additional dose of these nutrients promotes the formation of firmer, better-developed fruit.

The product is not a standalone fertilizer – it is used to supplement the base fertilizer during the second part of flowering. First add PK 13-14 to the water, and only then add the base fertilizer, monitoring the EC value of the solution. The concentrate is clear and colorless, which – as confirmed by the manufacturer – is its correct appearance.

The 1 L bottle, at the maximum dose of 2 ml per liter of water, allows you to prepare 500 liters of solution.

Composition and NPK analysis

PK mineral fertilizer (NPK 0-13-14). Nutrient content according to the manufacturer's technical data sheet (% w/w):

  • water-soluble phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) – 13.4%
  • water-soluble potassium oxide (K2O) – 14.4%

Concentrate parameters: pH 7.1, density 1.28 g/ml, clear, colorless and odorless liquid.

Application

PK 13-14 supplements the base fertilizer during the second half of flowering, when the plant is forming flowers and fruit. It is useful for growing flowering and fruiting plants – ornamental plants, balcony plants and fruiting vegetables – at home, in a greenhouse or in the garden. It belongs to the Plagron UNIVERSAL additives line and can be used together with other liquid fertilizers and additives. When using mineral fertilizers, the nutrient solution's pH and salinity must be monitored: the recommended pH range is 5.5–6.5 and can be adjusted with pH Plus, pH Min or Lemon Kick. The appropriate EC value depends on the plant species and its stage of development.

Directions for use

  1. Shake well before use.
  2. Add a maximum of 2 ml of PK 13-14 per 1 liter of water (1:500).
  3. Then add the base fertilizer until the desired EC value is reached.
  4. Use with every watering from the fourth week of the flowering phase.

Safety and storage

Store and transport upright, in the tightly closed original packaging, in a dark place at a temperature of 0–35 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. The shelf life of the unopened product is 4 years from the date of manufacture. Keep out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes and skin, and do not ingest. Wash hands after handling the concentrate.
