Plagron Hydro Roots 1 L – mineral root stimulator for hydroponic systems
Hydro Roots by Plagron is a liquid, fully mineral additive that strengthens the root system, developed for hydroponic cultivation and irrigation systems. It contains phosphorus and boron – two nutrients with different functions that together increase the plant's ability to absorb nutrients.
Phosphorus stimulates root growth: it increases root length and supports cell division and enlargement. Boron increases the activity of enzyme systems, resulting in more efficient nutrient uptake. As a result, the product supports root initiation and growth, increases the number of lateral roots and thickens root hairs, thereby improving the architecture of the entire root system. Well-developed roots supply the plant with water and nutrients more effectively.
The product contains no organic ingredients, so it does not clog drippers or pumps, and the nutrient solution remains stable for longer. The 1 L bottle is enough to prepare up to 1000 litres of nutrient solution, making it suitable for larger systems and regular tank refilling.

Composition and NPK analysis
Simple liquid mineral phosphorus fertilizer (NPK 0-20-0) with a micronutrient. Declared nutrient content (% w/w):
- phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5), total and water-soluble – 20.5%
- boron (B), water-soluble, in the form of sodium salt – 0.02%
Raw material according to the label: monosodium phosphate. The concentrate is a clear, colorless and odorless liquid with a pH of 4.9 and a density of 1.34 g/ml.
Use
Hydro Roots is intended exclusively for hydroponic cultivation and application through an irrigation system, including recirculating systems. It supports root development in young plants before and after transplanting, and then throughout the growth phase and the first weeks of flowering – in home and greenhouse systems growing leafy plants and herbs, as well as fruiting vegetables. It is recommended to combine it with Hydro A+B fertilizer and Green Sensation and Power Buds additives. Power Roots, which contains organic ingredients and is therefore less suitable for irrigation systems, is better suited to manual watering.
Directions for use
- Shake well before use.
- Add 1 ml of Hydro Roots per 1 litre of water (1:1000).
- Use with every watering.
- Use until the fourth week of the flowering phase, then stop so that the plant can direct its energy towards flowers and fruit.
Use the fertilizer only when justified and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Safety and storage
Contains CMIT-MIT reaction mass (3:1) at a concentration below 0.01% – may cause an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with national regulations. Store and transport upright, in the tightly closed original packaging, in a dark place, at a temperature of 0–35 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. The shelf life of the unopened product is 4 years from the production date.
