The mix has been prepared with the specific needs of species such as lemons, oranges, mandarins, kumquats, as well as olives, lavender, rosemary, and other plants that prefer a light, well-draining substrate.

Mediterranean plants do not tolerate excess water in the root zone well, so the structure of the substrate is crucial. BIGOS BIOVITA soil features a loose, porous texture that allows excess water to drain freely and ensures constant oxygen access to the roots. These conditions promote proper root system development and reduce the risk of rot and physiological diseases.

The organic and mineral components used in the mix also help maintain the appropriate moisture level, which is especially important for container and terrace cultivation.
