PowerZyme by Hesi is a liquid preparation that strengthens plants and is designed to keep the substrate in good condition. Even the best-developed root system depends on substrate quality: roots need plenty of oxygen and an environment rich in beneficial microorganisms.

The main ingredient is a biotechnologically obtained enzyme extract from the fungus Trichoderma. These enzymes break down cellulose, which makes up the small, dead parts of plants. Roots constantly renew their outer layer – older cells are shed and replaced with new ones, and the faster a root grows, the more of this material accumulates in the root zone. Cellulose broken down by the enzymes is converted into sugar molecules, which are used by both plants and microorganisms living in the substrate.

In nature, specialized microorganisms, primarily fungi, are responsible for this process. PowerZyme supplies the same enzymes in pure form, so organic residues do not accumulate around the roots and beneficial microflora have better conditions for development. The preparation is not a fertilizer – use it alongside basic fertilization.

Composition

Liquid extract of cellulose-degrading enzymes obtained from a fungus of the genus Trichoderma. This is an enzyme additive, not a fertilizer – it has no declared NPK content.

Application

PowerZyme keeps the root zone in good condition throughout the entire cultivation cycle – in soil, coco and hydroponics. It is useful at home, on balconies and in greenhouses, both for collections of potted plants and for growing edible plants. It is particularly useful in substrates used for longer periods and in small pots, where organic residues quickly accumulate around the roots. It can be combined with base fertilizers and other Hesi additives, such as Root Complex and SuperVit. The preparation does not replace proper drainage and watering.

Directions for use

  • measure 2 ml of the preparation per 1 L of water or ready-to-use nutrient solution (20 ml per 10 L)
  • water the substrate with the solution 1–2 times a week as part of your regular watering and fertilization routine
  • use throughout the entire cultivation cycle, alongside a base fertilizer
  • do not pour the concentrate directly onto the roots

Safety and storage

Store the preparation in its original, tightly closed packaging, in a cool, dark place protected from frost, out of reach of children and pets. The product is not intended for consumption. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin; in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. Shake the bottle before use.
