Canna Silica 1 L – liquid silicon supplement that strengthens plants from within
Canna Silica is a liquid silicon preparation developed using nanotechnology, added to the nutrient solution together with base fertilizers. Silicon absorbed by the plant is deposited in cell walls and covering tissues, strengthening stems and leaves.
A stronger structure creates a natural protective barrier and helps plants stay in good condition under more challenging conditions – during heat, drought, wind and other environmental stresses. The formula combines two highly bioavailable forms of silicon, ensuring both immediate and long-lasting uptake of this element.
Silicon works best when applied regularly from the beginning of growth, as it becomes incorporated into newly forming tissues. The preparation is not a plant protection product.

Composition
The product label declares 5% SiO₂. Silicon occurs in two bioavailable forms. The manufacturer notes that the preparation affects the pH, EC and potassium level of the nutrient solution, so the recommended doses should be followed.
Use
Silica strengthens stems and leaves and helps plants withstand heat, drought and wind. It is used throughout the entire cycle – from the early growth stage through advanced flowering – in soil, coco and hydroponic systems, for indoor, garden and greenhouse cultivation. Do not combine it with phosphorus-potassium (PK) supplements, such as Canna PK 13/14.
Directions for use
- Fill the tank with clean water.
- Shake the bottle and add 1–2 ml of Canna Silica per 1 liter of water – always as the first ingredient – then mix thoroughly.
- Set the solution pH to approximately 6.5–7.
- Add base fertilizers and other supplements according to the instructions on their labels.
- Finally, check the pH and, if necessary, adjust it to the target value of 5.2–6.2.
The preparation can be applied with every watering, and in inert substrates and hydroponics – with every tank refill or nutrient solution change. The exception is days when phosphorus-potassium supplements are used (e.g. Canna PK 13/14): do not combine Silica with them. It can be used with products containing calcium or magnesium, provided the correct mixing order is maintained. Do not exceed the dose of 1–2 ml/l.
Safety and storage
Danger – corrosive product. May be corrosive to metals. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Protect skin and eyes when handling the concentrate – wear gloves and safety goggles. Do not mix the concentrate directly with other products. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children, in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dark place; protect from heat, frost and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: 10–35°C.
