The fruits ripen from green through brown to deep purple with greenish shoulders and – importantly – do not split as easily as many other small-fruited varieties. The plants are very productive, grow vigorously and, with good support, reach 2 m or more. The trusses are long, and the fruits ripen successively, so harvesting continues throughout the season.

The variety performs well both outdoors with stakes and under cover – in a tunnel, it produces a noticeably larger and earlier crop. It is also a good choice for gardeners just starting out with tall tomatoes: it forgives mistakes and bears fruit even in a poorer season.

Growing step by step

Sowing (March – early April, under cover): sow the seeds in pots or seed trays filled with a light seed-starting mix, at a depth of approx. 0.5–1 cm, at 20–25°C.
