The fruits grow to 300–500 g, with smooth, thin skin and mildly flavoured flesh without noticeable bitterness. The plant is relatively short and heavily leafed, so it performs well in a polytunnel and a large container on the terrace, while the fruits stay off the ground.

In a Central European climate, this is an eggplant for gardeners with a warm spot – under plastic, by a south-facing wall or on a sheltered balcony.
