The flowers are spotted inside, giving them a distinctive, slightly wild character, and the mix includes every shade from deep purple to pure white. The plants are stately and create a strong vertical accent in the border, so they look excellent at the back or in loose groups of several plants.

The seeds are tiny but germinate readily, and the variety self-seeds with little effort, creating a permanent, self-renewing colony in the garden after several years.
